“FINAL FANTASY III (Pixel Remastered)” is an immortal role-playing masterpiece in which Krystal chooses four adventurers. A remastered version based on the original FINAL FANTASY 3 released in 1990 is now available for smartphones! Kazuko Shibuya, who created the dot characters symbolizing FF, is added to the main staff, and all graphics are vividly expressed in 2D! Under the full supervision of Nobuo Uematsu, the composer who is familiar with the series, the background music of the original version was arranged more beautifully.
In addition to this, features such as auto battle have been added, making it a different game from the 3D remake version. In battle, enter commands for each character to act. The game proceeds in a familiar fashion, moving across the field and heading towards a destination such as a town or dungeon, where an event occurs. As you move through fields and dungeons, you’ll randomly encounter enemies and rush into battle. This job is not ATB (adopted from FF4) and if you select the command of all characters, the enemy and friend will act in the fastest order.
We defeat the enemy by making full use of special commands based on the job, such as summoning magic. The graphics and sounds that make you feel the atmosphere of the original version are well reproduced. On top of that, the UI has been optimized for smartphones and an auto battle has been added. There were times when it was a little difficult to use, such as when moving and giving commands during battle, but other than that, I could play comfortably without worrying about anything else.
