Turn on notifications to get alerts whenever a scanner has more than 2000 listeners (find out major events as they go down). “Location” permission is required so that the app can determine which scanners are in your area when you select “Nearby Scanners”. When you select “Nearby Scanner”, the app first tries to determine your location via the network, if this fails, the app tries to determine your location via GPS. “Photo / Media / File” / “edit or delete the contents of your USB storage permission is required to allow you to record the audio you are listening to and save it to a location that you can access from your computer.
