WARNING: Android O + no longer allows the app to cover your notifications. WARNING: the installation of Android TV has become more complicated as Google has not implemented the overlay authorization screen, see below: Recent research suggests that exposure to blue light before sleep could distort your natural rhythm (circadian) and cause the inability to fall asleep. The cause is the photoreceptor in your eyes, called Melanopsin. This receptor is sensitive to a narrow band of blue light in the range 460-480 nm which can suppress melatonin production * a hormone responsible for your healthy sleep-wake cycles. In experimental scientific studies it has been shown that an average person reads on a tablet or smartphone for a couple of hours before bedtime could find sleep delayed by about an hour.
